Spring 2026 Patient Newsletter

A lot of patients have, in the past declined consent to be contacted via SMS.

We have been using SMS messaging to contact patients about changes to their medication, upcoming appointment reminders and important updates to the health centre; but we also use this platform to inform you of non-clinical information i.e. upcoming health events, newsletters and general updates surrounding the health centre.

We would like to inform you that you can consent to just receive clinical information ONLY.

If you would like to consent to receive Medical and clinical information ONLY, please email the care co-ordinators on bobicb-ox.schc_care_coordinators@nhs.net with the message: ‘consent to receive clinical information ONLY via SMS text message’

Please also include your name and date of birth on your email, and we will make the above change to your medical record.

This means you will only receive information/ messages that relate to your health only.
