Two Salaried GP’s 5-6 sessions required from January 2026

We are seeking two enthusiastic and highly motivated GPs to join our friendly and supportive training practice. With a strong track record of teamwork and delivering excellent primary care, we now have exciting opportunities available due to a forthcoming retirement and maternity leave. The maternity cover will begin from January 2026 for one year. The permanent role will be to start Jan-Apr 2026.

  • Semi-rural practice, close to Reading, approx. 10,000 patients
  • Currently 4 partners, 7 salaried doctors, 4 GP registrars
  • Personal list based on usual doctor to encourage continuity with buddy and duty system
  • 15-minute appointments
  • Training Practice with 4 GP Trainers
  • Maximum QOF achievement
  • ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating and excellent patient satisfaction survey
  • Highly skilled nursing team with nurse led clinics including minor illness
  • Dispensary on site, dispensing to 30% of patients
  • 7 weeks’ annual leave & 1 week study leave pro-rata
  • Salary: £11,118 per session

  • In-house training programme and individual protected time for education
  • Active within HenleySonNet PCN, with clinical pharmacists, social prescribers and care coordinators
