Part time Dispenser

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our GP practice team as a Dispenser.

Due to retirement, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our dispensary team, supported by the Practice Pharmacists.  You will be ensuring the safe, timely and accurate prescribing and supply of medication, from the practice dispensary.  The semi-rural practice serving just under 10,000 patients is well respected in the community.

We seek an individual who enjoys working in a busy environment, who can multitask and has an eye for detail. We require excellent communication skills given the expected patient contact and multiple specialised systems need a degree of IT literacy.

Previous experience working as a NVQ qualified dispenser is necessary, and thorough on the job training is provided to help any transition into primary care.  There is also the opportunity for future role development and training through the Pharmacy Technician role.
