Flu Vaccine Clinic 2023-2024

We are now booking for our Flu vaccine clinics.

Children’s Flu

Children between the ages of 2-3  are able to be booked into our treatment room area throughout the week.

Adult flu

Adults under the below cohorts will be able to book into our clinic:

. Adults aged 65+

. Adults aged between 18-64 classed as being in an ‘at risk’ group (see below for who is included in an ‘at risk’ group)

How to book your appointment 

Once invited to book your appointment, you may either use the NHS app/ patient access to schedule your appointment. We also have a dedicated Flu line that you can call on 0118 972 2188 (option 8). The Flu line is open between 10:00-17:00 Tuesday to Friday.

Included in the ‘at risk’ group 

Below is a list of some of the categories included in the ‘at risk’ group. NOTE: These ‘at risk’ groups have been amended and changed by NHS England since last year’s flu season. We ask that If you are unsure if you would be eligible to receive a flu vaccine this year, please email the Care Coordinators with your query. The team will liaise with your GP to advise of your eligibility. You will be turned away from your appointment if you are not eligible.

. Pregnant women

. Type 1/ Type 2 Diabetes

. Those in long-stay residential care/nursing homes

. Carers in receipt of carer’s allowance, or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person

. People immunosuppressed due to disease/ treatment, and those undergoing treatment that will lead to immunosuppression

. Close contacts of immunocompromised individuals

. Adults with a Body Mass Index of >40

. People with a Chronic Respiratory Disease

. Health and social care staff directly involved in the care of their patients or clients
