Patients of Dr Burnett will move to Dr Webster as their usual GP (if their surname begins A to J) and to Dr Smith as their usual GP (if their surname begins K to Z) from Monday 3rd April. You can of course see any of our GPs, subject to availability.

TOWNLANDS HOSPITAL - PARKING

A new number plate recognition parking system went live at Townlands Hospital on 10th April.   See our new page on the right hand side of the screen for further information, including parking at the Royal Berks.

We have a new online repeat prescription service.  The previous repeat prescription facility is no longer active.  If you have not already done so, please register for our new online service via reception - you will need to bring some photographic ID with you. The above link will take you to the new facility.

If you prefer to order repeat prescriptions online, make sure that you have chosen the correct destination for your prescription.

If you prefer the paper way of ordering, your prescription will have a tear-off slip at the right hand side - please use this to order your repeats by clearly marking the item(s) you require and either place it in the box in our foyer, or post it to us.

Regardless of the method, please allow 48 hours (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) for your repeat prescription request to be processed.  We can not accept repeat prescription requests over the telephone.

If we dispense for you, then your medication can be collected from reception.

If we do not dispense for you, collect your prescription from us and take it to a pharmacist or we can arrange for your prescription to be sent directly to the local pharmacy for them to dispense for you.

Our dispensing patients are patients who live more than 1.6 km (1 mile) from a Chemist. Please click here to view a map of our catchment area if you are unsure. If you live within one of the circles, you are not a dispensing patient.

If you require medication urgently outside surgery hours, please speak to the pharmacist at one of the pharmacies in our area. Please click here  for contact details.
