We have gone live with electronic prescribing (EPS). EPS makes it possible for your prescription to be sent electronically to the pharmacy or dispenser of your choice.  Please click on the EPS link on the right hand side for more information.


FLU VACCINATION

Please make an appointment for a flu vaccination if you are in any of these categories:

Children aged 2 and 3 years;     Over 65s;     Pregnant women;    

Registered carers;     Care home residents;    

Aged 6 months to under 65 years and in a clinical risk group

No Hepatitis A and limited combined Hepatitis A and Typhoid, Tetanus vaccines

We have limited supplies of Tetanus, combined Hepatitis A and Typhoid and no Hepatitis A. Please check on the availability of these vaccines with Reception in plenty of time before travelling. Patients may need to obtain these vaccines privately at the MASTA Travel Clinic in Reading or at a large Boots store if we do not have the vaccines in stock.


Chlamydia

Patients can access a free online chlamydia testing service at https://chlamydia.sexualhealthoxfordshire.nhs.uk/

We have always stressed the importance of communication. What we perhaps stress less often is the two-way nature of the process. We believe that the better we understand your needs, the better service we are able to provide. So your comments, positive as well as negative, are vital to us.

In addition to comments on what is, we welcome comments on what might be. Of course we are always time and cost-limited, but is there anything you would want us to try to include in the future? There is a suggestion box in the lobby or you can write to our practice manager.

Inevitably in any large and busy organisation there will be things that do not work as well as they might.  No system is ever perfect. Like any quality organisation, we are determined to do our best to rectify any short-coming and to try to ensure it cannot happen again. For this we need your help. If you have a problem, share it with a member of staff - in person, by phone (0118) 972 2188, by fax (0118) 972 4633 or by e-mail - and let us try to produce the solution. In that way, together we can create the best Health Centre for us all.
